Job Title: Rigger
Location: Rhode Island
Hourly Rate: Based on Experience

Summary: We are looking for an experienced Rigger to join our team. As a Rigger your role is to lift and move equipment/materials as needed for the job.
Responsibilities:

• Inspect rigging equipment prior to use.
• Install rigging hardware onto components.
• Use power and hand tools including, but not limited to, small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication .
• Have basic knowledge of Rigging math so that u can determine if rigging slings are overloaded.
• Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum of industrial Rigging experience, nuclear experience a plus
• Basic rigging Certification IE; EPRI, NCCER, NCCCO, or equivalent
• Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customer.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours.
• TWIC card a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week
• Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals
• Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights
• Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, or stoop around equipment safely
• Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
