Job Description

The Surveillance Technician installs and repairs all Surveillance equipment and completes all other necessary tasks given to them by the Lead Surveillance Technician and or the Executive Director of Surveillance. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

• Responsible for installation of Camera’s, Alarms, Monitors and all other associated equipment.
• Performs routine tasks like backups or other operational tasks as defined.
• Performs preventative maintenance on Cameras, Monitors or other hardware. Installs service releases and performs routine maintenance on surveillance systems as needed.
• Performs training activities for personnel as needed on operational aspects of surveillance, alarm and other low voltage systems.
• Troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
• Facilitates assistance from hardware and software vendors when necessary.
• Maintains licensing information for all surveillance and video systems. Ensures compliance of licensing agreements at the user level.
• Devises documentation for all end user hardware and software with regard to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, licensing, configuration, and network connectivity.
• Other duties as assigned by the Lead Technician and or the Executive Director of Surveillance.

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent and articulate in English.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Electronics background.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical functions.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• 1 years’ experience in the electronics or IT field.
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
